• Poros offers a variety of beaches, each with its own distinct advantages and easily reached by bike, bus, or the inexpensive watertaxis. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy Askeli or Neorio beach, where schools for all kind of watersports offer their service. Askeli beach, with its chic beach bar and sun beds in pastel colors, is always a favorite. Monastery beach, named for the ancient monastery that overlooks the pine tree covered bay, is ideal for relaxing in the shade and watching the twinkling of the sun on the sea. Love bay appeals with its romantic setting. Fashionable By the Sea beach with music bar is the new attraction.​ At Anasa beach charming mrs Matina  and her team offer a relaxing atmosphere on a sandy beach and excellent finger food and drinks. Canali beach is the closest to Poros town, with comfortable sun beds and two charming tavernas to cater to their guests needs. Russian bay is truly a special location. All beaches are pebble covered, equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, and there is always a little beach bar or taverna (the typical Greek restaurant) nearby.

• Fishing and excursions with a private fishing boat with captain. The catch will be grilled and savored at the end of the adventure.

• Work out, private yoga and pilates lessons can be arranged in the garden of our properties. Single or group instructions for swimming, snorkeling and kayak can be organized with Sprios and Katherina. There are two gyms on Poros, and one more on Galata with sauna, all of them run by professionals.

• Gather information on ancient Greek culture – visit the charming, small museum in Poros town and the spectacular location of the Sanctuary of Poseidon on Kalavria

• Meditate at the Monastery dedicated to Holy Mother Mary - Source of Life, built in the middle of pine woods next to a healing spring

• Take part in agricultural life – season permitting learn about olive or grape harvest, collect oregano, thyme, chamomile or wild capers 

 

• Boat excursions: take a lovely ride with Kaiki-boats (traditional motor boats) to one of the tiny, uninhabited islands that surround Poros, or to romantic Aliki beach at the base of the famous "lemon-grove" on the mainland.

• Excursions to the famous archeological sights of Mycene, Tyrins, Tolon, Argos, Epidaurus as well as beautiful Nauplia, the first capital city of the liberated Greece. We will gladly reserve a rental car or limousine/minibus with driver for you.

• Athens: We will gladly arrange for a limousine/minibus with driver waiting for you at Piraeus harbor for an individually-tailored one-day sightseeing program.

• Excursions by catamaran boat to the well known islands of Hydra or Spetses.

• Reservation of theatre and concert tickets for the summer festival at the famous Epidaurus theater. The Festival is held June to September and includes performances of antique Greek tragedies (in modern Greek language) as well as concerts of classical music and Greek folklore.
